SJCAM SJ5000 Wifi v1.2 Firmware Download Link

The SJ5000 Wifi v1.2 firmware was lost during our last server move. The firmware has been re-uploaded. The main thing the v1.2 fixes is the unit crashing during the 20 sec Time-Lapse mode. There is no other difference between v1.1 and v1.2.

To upgrade the firmware properly, follow the steps carefully:
1. Power the camera off.
2. Remove the battery and the MicroSD card from the camera.
3. Reformat the MicroSD card using the FAT32 file format on your computer.
4. Copy the firmware files into the root directory of your MicroSD card.
5. Reinsert the SD card to your camera.
6. Reinsert the battery.
7. Connect the camera with charger, the camera will be upgraded automatically
8. After the firmware update is completed remove the SD card from the camera and format it again on your
computer, make sure to use the FAT32 file format. Should you have any questions regarding the firmware update, please submit support ticket.

same in M10 Wifi and M10+ Plus functions. Hence, we should should have M10 Wifi and M10+
Plus manual read soon as well. Feel free to download the manual and share with other SJCAM
owners who may need a more detailed manual. The M10 User manual is 16 full pages and is in
PDF format. This is SJCAM's most ambitious manual to date. Stay tuned to the SJCAM Blog as

We would like start this thread as a resource to SJCAM owners who would like to purchase compatible microSD cards over 32gb.

If you own an SJCAM and have confirmed that 64gb or 128gb cards work fine with your unit. Please share with us the following:

1) SJCAM Model #
2) Card Brand and Class
3) any other things you might want to add.

“Don Markon” – 64gb Samsung evo works with SJcam M10 but SD need to be formated with fat32
“Mic” – Using Sankdisk 32gb extreme pro (class 10 U3) works well so far, playback etc.
“DonMarkon” – Samsung EVO C10 but 32GB
“LeoLeoLeo” I use this one on SJ5000+ wifi – Transcend Premium 300 C10 32GB

SJ5000+ Plus 1.5″ and v1.54″ v2.8.4 Firmware changelog

Note: This firmware only supports V2.X SJ5000+ cameras, It is not for newer V3.X camera
